Terms & Conditions

The legal terms governing your plan

This summary applies to both Petrol/Diesel and EV protection plans. Your Plan Certificate, issued after inspection and approval, is the governing document for any claim.

Company: the provider and administrator of the Vehicle Protection Plan. Customer: the registered owner of the covered vehicle. Covered Vehicle: the vehicle approved following inspection and accepted by the Company. Mechanical Breakdown: the sudden and unforeseen failure of a covered component resulting from normal use that requires repair or replacement.
You must follow manufacturer maintenance schedules, maintain service records, use manufacturer-approved lubricants and fluids, report any breakdown immediately, and prevent further damage after a failure occurs. Failure to comply may result in denial of coverage.
Contact the claims department before repairs begin; unauthorized repairs may not be reimbursed. Maximum aggregate liability under any plan is capped at that plan's claim limit (see Coverage Details above), and the Company reserves the right to repair, replace, or recondition any covered component.
Any defect, fault, damage, wear, noise, vibration or leakage existing before inspection, plan purchase, or plan activation is excluded from coverage. The Company reserves the right to determine whether a condition is pre-existing.
The Plan may be transferred to a subsequent owner subject to Company approval, ownership verification, and a transfer administration fee.
Cancellation may be requested within 7 days of purchase if no claim has been submitted. Administrative fees may apply.
Coverage terminates immediately, with no refund payable, if false information is provided, the odometer is tampered with, service history is falsified, or fraudulent claims are submitted.
The Company is not liable for loss of income, loss of business, alternative transportation, hotel expenses, consequential damages, or emotional distress, unless specifically included in your plan.
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. This Vehicle Protection Plan is a service contract and is not an insurance policy; coverage is subject to inspection approval, waiting periods, exclusions, claim limits, maintenance requirements and all applicable Terms & Conditions.

Insurance vs. Protection Plan

This is not car insurance: here's the difference

Motor insurance covers accidents, theft, and third-party liability. A vehicle protection plan covers mechanical breakdowns, the sudden and unforeseen failure of a covered component due to normal use, that occur after your manufacturer's warranty expires. Most owners carry both. This plan is a service contract, not an insurance policy.
